Best video review I have seen on this unit yet, by a huge margin. If I were to buy another EcoFlow product it would be this one. This fits the bill in one nice package and for me I am not into being completely off grid but do experience frequent outages in Texas due to storms. Thanks to you I placed an order for an EG4 off grid inverter and the EG4LL battery that will complete my set up for emergencies at a lower cost. The cons for me at the moment is the cost, and the weight of the unit. I used to worry about customer service with EcoFlow until recently when I had to send 2 EcoFlow Delta max 2000 and a river pro back. I thought it would cost me an arm and a leg for shipping but was thoroughly surprised when they sent me shipping labels. In less than 3 weeks they had replaced every unit I sent on their dime. So knowing this unit is a beast and weighs a lot I feel confident that EcoFlow will take care of all their customers within time should they have problems. Another feature I do not like about this unit is that the handle is very low. For older people like myself and those with limited mobility, I feel it would be easier for them to move the unit around if the handle that extends was on the top. If you still have to bend down and lift it at its fulcrum for leverage it could still be very heavy. I don't remember if it is anker or someone else that has the handle on top. The final thing that I find as a con is the solar input it provides. If I were to buy it with extension batteries, I have doubts that it would be able to recharge the batteries fully on a solar day. All in all EcoFlow has hit this one out of the ball park as you always do with your videos. Great, great job!

I installed this in my 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5L, which has a 130A alternator. I’m only getting 414w when I have the Pecron set to 12.5v, and it drains the battery down to 12.5v after engine shutdown. If I set it to 13v, I lose about 70w of peak charging. Do I need a higher output alternator to have the Pecron at 13v and charge at the full 500w? I’d like to maximize my setup.

Is there a cutover time when using the time-of-use mode on the automatic home panel? For context, I live in NYC and charged 2 cents per kwh at night and 33 cents per kwh at day. I want to exploit those low overnight prices, but don't want to expose my home to a microgap of electricity twice a day.

I have the ALLPOWERS and I got it for 340€ so about 350$... it's hands down the best foldable solar panel, it is super robust, I have tested in all conditions and I'm getting more power than in this test (330-350W not cooled).

Can the extra battery be charged separately ?

Seems silly that Ecoflow elected not to let the Delta Pro 3 interconnect with the older Delta Pro.

It should have 2 150 volt mppt for the size. Everything else is good, unless you have to ship it back for repairs do to weight.

*@**1:32**: What the hell good is only 240 Volts AC at 16.6 Amps ? The old Delta Pro gave you 240 AC @ a full 30 Amps, if you used two machines. You cannot run a house on 16.6 Amps of Current ! Even 30 is barely capable of 10 circuits !*

have you ever hooked this unit up to a transfer switch via the tt-30r rv outlet? i have 2 of these units and have a reliance transfer switch that i connect them to to power circuits in my house during power outages. at first they both worked just fine but lately the AC inverter will randomly shut off when connected via the tt-30r outlet. if i plug an item into one of the 4 120v outlets the inverter will run continuously. the inverter will also just randomly shut off if i turn it on with nothing connected to any of the outlets. customer service said this unit is not designed to be used with a transfer switch which seems strange to me. curious of your experience, thanks

Im not big on the numbers or names/models but is this the ecoflow delta max 1600 and if it is what do you think about charging a lawn mower that has those faucfait batteries about once a week am i going to notice a difference?Thankyou!

Why not just use a regular ol' inverter - like a 1200 watt and just charge via AC? Most power stations take a higher AC wattage input than solar - like the Delta 2 is 1200 watts AC input vs 500 watts solar and the new ecoflow alternator charger maxes at 800 watts. What am I missing? Sincere question - This lectrical stuff is above my IQ. So wouldn't a 1200 watt AC inverter charge 50% faster than the ecoflow 800 watt alternator charger? Please clarify

Another premium video. Eco flow is getting there for me and my home back up needs. I can use some power queen batteries and create a system that will run my critical home needs and appliances without extreme technical ability or knowledge for about 4 days. Throw in a small generator and a couple cans of gas and I can go one for a month. Now that is some serious home back up. Thanks Jason, always poignant on point info.

Ok enough with the AM radio test.. what percentage of your viewers use an AM radio.. And then of that percentage what percent will use it within inches of the inverter.. usually inverters are on the ground away from things anyways.. Not on a desktop or counter.. and really.. Is there any inverter that it doesn't cause noise.. I've watched about all of them and never seen one that had caused interference with an AM radio when placed within a foot of the inverter.. please just delete that test...

This video was great. Cool project, but I would argue the summer vs winter fridge thing depends…. We keep the house colder in the summer than we do in the winter. The fridge operates on ambient temp, it exists inside the conditioned space of the home, so my assumption is that my fridge uses more power in the winter in my home.

Did I hear you right, not only is there no pass thru charging when charging from a EV station, but both AC inverters are disabled? That’s a major bummer. My main buying reason for both the Delta Pro and Dekra Pro 3 is the EV charging input. But not if the power bank sits useless while I’m doing it. 😭 nées fixing

I have the anker 2000 and one panel. Would this 400 watt panel hook up with the 200 watt panel to make it 600 with that adapter that came with the unit?

Very thorough testing and the web site is very useful if you are in the market for a hardware like this. At no point does it seem like a commercial for product. which as others have said is an issue with other reviews.

16:50 thats a nice looking usb tester you have there, curious as to what it is. EDIT: i may have found it Power-Z KM003C Portable USB-C Fast Charging Tester PD3.1 QC5.0 Digital Voltmeter & Ammeter Power Bank Tester but over a hundred bucks that is quite the price on that tester, looks nice tho.

$3500 for this, compared to a $1000 generator and 625 gallons of gasoline at $4/gallon, I'll take the gas generator.

Can you charge this with a generator from the AC input? TIA
